OUR STORY
Maya Alexandrova Deeva migrated to Australia in the 1980s with her four children. They came from China but not as many would typically know of today. The region borders the countries of Mongolia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India. All of Maya's children have the talent and skill of creating magnificent dishes of this culinary culture. One of them; Luba, has decided to turn her cooking passion into a business and share in her amazing heritage with other foodies alike.  Her time in the kitchen came at just the age of eight when she had to make bread, noodles and dumplings from scratch. As you can imagine after nearly 50 years she has become quite a master of it. Her baking is well regarded within the Xinjiang community of Sydney. We hope you get a chance to enjoy her creations.

MAYA DEEVA
The inspiration for the Deeva Delish brand. This is Maya Deeva (or babushka known to her many grandchildren). She was a fabulous baker and cook - her traditional recipes have been passed down through her children and are now able to be shared with you.
